I've been a music-lover most of my life. I remember I was ten years old; it was my birthday and I got my first cassette-player. I was in heaven! My first real cassette was a birthday gift from my sister - Jan Teigen, Klovn Uten Scene (Norwegian guy). I listened to that tape for a long, long time.

When I was 14 I got myself a cd-player (stereo). My sister gave me my first CD. It was Bruce Springsteen, (un)plugged in New York. Once again, I was in heaven.

Over the years I'd bought many CD's. I know lots of people have a lot more music than I have, but still I think my collection is kind of big. I think I have about 350 CD's. I lost count I have to say...

A few years a go, I bought myself a LP player. I love the sound an LP player gives. My collections of LP's isn't that big. I've bought a few myself. Most of the LP's I got, I've got from my parents. I've "borrowed" them... heh.

I love different kind of music, but mainly pop, rock and some hip hop and rap. My biggest idol is Bruce Springsteen. No musician gives me so much joy as he does. I've been a fan for half my life.

Other artist I like a lot is U2, REM, Bryan Adams, Moby, Robbie Williams, Tom McRae, Lars Winnerbäck, Oasis, Depeche Mode, Kim Larsen, Ulf Lundell, Per Gessle / Roxette, Grant Lee Buffalo and many many more.

Being a music junkie, means that I got to concerts from time to time. I haven't broken any world record in how many concerts I've seen, but comparing a lot of my friends and people I know, I've seen a lot more concerts than they have. People I don't understand, is those who says they don't wanna spend money on a concert, because you can hear them at home on a CD. They just don't know what they're missing!

Since I'm a list-geek (I love to make lists!), I've tried to list down most of my concerts.

I went to the Pinkpop festival in late May 09 where I saw Bruce Springsteen, the Killers, Maria Mena, Milo, All American Rejects, Katy Perry, Amy MacDonald, Keane. It was a great festival and I would love to go back if the music is good.
